Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT
The history of ADHI began 46 years ago when the Minister of Public Works, through a Decision Letter dated March 11, 1960, established a construction service company to accelerate the development of Indonesia. One year later, ADHI was officially sanctioned as PN Adhi Karya, based on Government Regulation No. 65 of 1961. In the same year, a former Dutch construction company was nationalized and merged into PN Adhi Karya.
ADHI's status as a state-owned enterprise was later changed to a limited liability company in 1974. The Articles of Association were then sanctioned by the Indonesian Minister of Justice.
In 2003, the Company's Article of Association have been amended several times during the initial public offering, the Company's name was then changed into PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. in line with the issuance of ADHI's shares of 45% to the public and become the first state-owned enterprise registered in the Jakarta Stock Exchange and the Surabaya Stock Exchange (now merged into Indonesia Stock Exchange).
Now ADHI has extended its projects to several Middle Eastern countries. This has strengthen its position to become a true champion in the construction service business and a choice in the EPC as well as investment in the field of infrastructure in Indonesia and several selected countries.
